What Is Asthma Control?

The definition of asthma control may be different for each parent when discussing childhood asthma. It may mean sleeping through the night or not having to keep the windows closed during certain times of the year. Perhaps it means sending your child off to school without the fear of an emergency phone call at work. However you define asthma control, many parents find that the use of a long-term controller (preventive) medication helps reduce their child's asthma symptoms. Take a look at the story below, from a mom just like you, and hear about how an asthma controller medication helped her gain control.

“Hi, I’m Michelle. My 4-year-old daughter, Julia, has asthma.”
