Asthma Guidelines
The National Asthma Education and Prevention Program Expert Panel Report 2: Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma update on selected topics was developed in conjunction with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) in response to the growing numbers of children with asthma. It describes various treatment approaches for managing asthma in children and provides recommendations for long-term prevention.
